Recap | Make It Right | s02e04

I think, at this point, I’m just hate-watching this show. Haha. Let’s recap. (Spoilers, obv.)

We are back in Fuse’s house, where it seems like Tee is still living there (but in separate bed 😉 ). It’s really sad to see Tee so resigned and melancholic but of course, fuccboi Fuse doesn’t care about it at all and just wants to know who Tee was talking to in the tutoring class. Ugh. And when Tee tells him he might move back to the condo, this attention seeker just goes ape shit and emotionally blackmails Tee into staying with him for a week.

We also get to finally see why Book was worried about Frame filming them having sex. Apparently, his previous boyfriend Tern used to always do that and Book used to let him do it even though he felt bad about it and now, he regularly gets nightmares. He explains all of this to Book, who on the surface seems okay and says all the right things like – I will always be there for you, it’s going to be okay, forget about it, etc. but inside, he seems to be definitely affected by this revelation. And, right after saying that he will always be at Book’s side, Frame leaves the bed to think about it all and starts messaging Fuse (and some another person named Ti (?)).

The next day, the boys gang (Yok, Mo, Frame, and Fuse) meet in the mall to have lunch and do whatever the hell teenage boys do. While doing that, Frame spots Tee and Cid, who are also out and about having some lunch. It’s finally so great to see Fuse being on the other side, watching his “lover” get all the attention.

There Cid is trying his level best to woo Tee. He cheekily asks if Tee has a lover, bats his eyelid, tries the famous Tee-eyebrow-game, and even tells him his plan to make a new lover (and gives him hints on who that might be). After that, they both go to a rooftop and start talking about life and stuff. It’s very romantic.

Tee also tells him that he lives in a condo because he doesn’t want to go back to his house, where his family is having some problems. Awww. And then, Cid basically lays his heart out for Tee saying that he gets him. Tee is the silent sufferer, one who doesn’t want to worry others with his problem. So, Cid offers his services. He says that he might not be able to solve all of Tee’s problem but will definitely be there to listen. Damn! This guy did it in 2 episodes flat what that fuccboi couldn’t do in 2 whole seasons – understood Tee for who he really is. But alas, MIR doesn’t like to see Tee happy for very long. So, when Cid leans in to give him a kiss, Tee moves back and asks to go home. I guess he needs more time.

On the other side, the boys gang are in a fancy hotel as Mo wants to take a poop. There they see Jean with that boy, who pretended to be her cousin, going inside the elevator together (gasps! clutches pearls!).

After seeing that, Fuse is obviously quite bummed and says that he doesn’t want to go back to his home. Frame, who’s also sad due to events mentioned before, volunteers to stay back with him and drink the night away. They then rent a room at the same hotel and start to drink. They get pissed drunk and nearly end up kissing but at the last moment, Fuse pulls back (wise move there mister) and they both go to sleep.

You know what, I think I finally get what MIR is trying to do. I think it’s going for the ‘real’ vibes like not the sweet candy romance but real, messy love story in real life, where people do stupid things when they get drunk and where it’s not always a happy ending. While I appreciate and respect that decision, for the love of god, PLEASE NO FRAME AND FUSE, PLEASE DO NOT CROSS THAT LINE!

Also, is it so easy to rent a room for teenagers when they are in school uniform? What about the alcohol? Where did they get the money to rent the room? And, why is the alcohol not blurred in this episode? Ugh. I am just not happy with this scene.

Anyway, in the morning, Tee wakes up to an empty bed. This boy is so concerned for Fuse’s well-being that even after all the shiz he’s put him through, he still calls around to see where Fuse might be at. Similarly, Book also seems sad that Frame isn’t there with him to go to school and has a really sad conversation with his mother over the phone.

The episode ends with the boys gang, including Book and Frame, in the school when Wit (I think) shares the info that a sex tape of a high school student has been leaked. Book obv. rushes out to see if it’s his video and Frame follows him. Oh boy, this is going to be a doozy.

Side Plots: I have no idea what’s happening with the plots involving Rodtang and Yok and Mo. With Rodtang, he’s trying to do everything but failing at all of them (I guess that’s the lesson?) And with Yok and Mo, Mo is still a prop for Yok to get back at  his mother.

Arbitrary Points Counter:

  • #couplegoals. +20

  • Me trying to avoid all my problems and responsibilities. +10

  • Boy, bye. +100

  • Someone make this shiz happen! +50

  • 🎵 I know I can treat you better than he can. And any boy like you deserves a gentleman. 🎵 +100

  • I don’t think MIR wants any of the couples to be happy. -100
  • What’s happening with Yok and Mo / Rodtang story lines? -50

  • And the fact that they insinuated that there’s some romantic connection between Yok’s mother and Wit? Ew. -100
  • And, for the love of god, never let this happen. -1000 for even going there.

  • Poor Cid. Crushed! 😥 😥 -100

  • Book’s GPA dropped from 3.94 to 3.90, a whopping 0.04 points, and his mother was very concerned. Asian parents, am I right? -20
  • What are those? -10 only cause I low-key love it. Haha.

Total: -1100

Verdict: As I said before, I think MIR wants to be a ‘real life’ relationship show with lots of ups and downs and ‘real’ dramas with ‘real’ consequences. It’s a very ambitious play but I don’t think it is working out for them.

Next episode: Finally, Tee seems receptive to Cid’s advances. I am actually excited about watching a new MIR episode this season! 😀

Recap | 2 Moons | s01e11

Welcome to the 74th Annual Hunger Games Kantapath Uni’s Star and Moon Competition 2017. I am your recapper – P’FanGirl and today, I shall be bringing you all the hottest gossips, drama, and the winners of the most anticipated gala event of the year. Shall we begin? (Spoilers, obv.)

First of all, let us all applaud the woman who seems to be the brain child of the ‘Star and Moon competition’, the one and only – Lady McLadyFace.

I mean, I’ve always wondered why did the university place so much importance on the competition and how did they have the budget to go to a resort for photo shoot etc. but after looking at the Dean of the college, I now have no questions.

I also love the fact that the whole show was devoted to the competition and we got to see every bit that actually mattered.

The show starts with the introduction round, where unfortunately only Wayo, Suthee, and Ming get screen time. And after the legendary performance of 1, 2, 3, 4 – the show moves to the talent round. Phana and the gang are watching and waiting to see their lovers on the stage but Beam complains about standing for too long and so, they all go to the waiting room to rest. In there, they see that Forth is wishing Wayo good luck for the competition. Phana looks jealous af but before he can do anything, he gets pulled aside by our very own Pringles. Unfortunately, Wayo witnesses the incident as well. Fortunately, Phana dismisses Pringles and says that he loves Wayo and not her. Aww yisss.

Phana then goes to meet Wayo but he doesn’t see him in the room with the other contestants. The sister informs him that he’s out with Forth to get his costume and music notes. This makes him bolt outside. There Forth and Phana share a terse conversation. Basically, Phana says that he likes Wayo and Forth says to never hurt him or he will be hurt. Classic love stuff. Wayo is still a little upset but Phana manages to charm him and everything is all right. Again, classic love stuff.

Now, on to the talent round. Unfortunately, Ming’s thing was … I don’t know what it was. Fortunately, Wayo’s performance was amazing. He dedicates the whole musical performance – ‘The Ordinary Man’ – to Phana and Phana, like us, is just mesmerized. I didn’t expect Wayo to sing that well tbh and the song choice was great (even though we all know Wayo is not ordinary at all). After the performance, Phana goes on stand by to give out the sash while Beam and Kit go to buy the roses for the popular vote for Wayo (you know where this is going, don’t you?).

So, when all of them stand to get roses for the popular vote, Wayo gets the most roses and a special 9999999 (approx.) roses bouquet from Phana. OMG, I’m crying. Where is my bouquet of roses?

Then, the winners are announced. Here are the title winners (only Moons because they are the only ones that matter):

  • Best Skin: Wayo
  • Most Popular: Wayo
  • 2nd runner up: Wayo
  • 1st runner up: Suthee
  • Winner: Ming

The episode ends with Phana and Wayo looking at each other, happy, and totally in love.

Arbitrary Points Counter:

  • Our boys appreciating beauty (except Phana as he knows where his true beauty lies). +10

  • For those wondering, Lady McLadyFace was wearing couture dress from Channel, jewelry from Warry Hinston, purse from Gukki, and the shoes from Banolo Mlahnik. +1000
  • For being the hottest boy on campus, Phana looked really stiff on the stage, eh? -10
  • But, he’s still the prettiest. So, +10 😛
  • Was there any doubt that 1, 2, 3, 4 wouldn’t be a legendary performance? +1000

  • Look at this perfect finish pose. Eat your heart out K-Pop dance videos! +500

  • Bye, Felicia! +1000

  • So, you’re telling me Wayo didn’t hear any of the conversation between Phana and Forth even though he was literally standing right there! -20

  • I’m sorry but Ming’s talent round was a little too cringey. And the pits. No. Sorry, I love Ming but no. -100
  • He’s not the sister but a fairy godmother. Granting wishes, bringing people together. Where is mine? +20

  • Bye, Felicia #2. Okay, sorry. This one’s a little sad. So, no points either way.

  • I love the way how this scene was shown. Wayo was singing just for Phana and Phana had eyes for only his Wayo. So, #personal and #romantic. +2000

  • Mr. Popular, getting all the roses. +100

  • 999999 (approx.) rose bouquet from his loverr. +1000

  • Phana doesn’t waste any opportunity to compliment his bae. +100

  • OMG, me? So unexpected! +100

  • Awwww, look how happy they are. Totally in love. +1000

Total: +7700

Verdict: I’m utterly delighted by this episode. Utterly, I tell you.

Next episode: 2 moons. I have warned you. If you are just f***ing playing with me, I will be very upset.

Recap | Make It Right | s02e03

Let’s recap. (Spoilers, obv.)

The boys are having a late night swim in the condo (probably) and Fuse is still mulling over who to choose – Jean or Tee. Are you frackin’ kidding me? The choice is crystal clear. It’s Tee, it’s always Tee.

We then shift to Frame and Book. Frame is sneezing a lot and Book scolds him for swimming this late with his friends. Frame asks Book to pass some cold medicine from his bag but it turns out to be a Viagra of some sort (of course). This makes Frame horny and he literally starts jumping on Book and starts to film the escapade. At this point, Book has had enough of it and says that he doesn’t want to do it again, Frame makes inquiries as to why is that. Book just ignores it and Frame leaves it as well and they have normal happy sex. While this is an interesting territory and a new development, this scene was very choppy. And, I have no idea how MIR will handle a sex video story line.

Later, we see a very happy Book cooking for Frame while day dreaming and feeling nostalgic. Frame being Frame scares him out of the blue and Book ends up cutting his finger. Frame then proceeds to carry out the first-aid, explains that he loves him and wants to care for him and starts to cook for him.

Back in Fuse’s house, he’s trying to reach Tee but Tee’s phone is turned off. (He doesn’t know about the sad melancholic montage that Tee had last episode.) Then, when Tee returns, Fuse apologizes and says that he will choose Jean instead of him.

However, our lord and savior, the epitome of grace – Tee handles it well by telling Fuse to follow his heart instead. 😥 😥

Then, after all of this, he still has the balls to say let’s still be friends. Oh. My. God. Of course, he can’t let go of poor Tee and wants all the attention. Has he thought about how this makes Tee feel? Of course not. Tee just says that he needs some time to sort this out and they will always be good friends. And, they have breakup sex.

Rodtang is busy playing the cool dude and now apparently, has an assistant. He is cutting class and is still hasn’t gone to the basketball practice. The boy with pretty eyelashes is pissed af. Nine assures him that he will handle the situation and goes to look for Rod. Rod, on the other hand, gets caught by the young teacher but using his charms, he gets away. Nine, seeing this, isn’t happy and lectures him about being responsible and good person. Rod just rolls his eyes mutters something about wanting to take care of his family, etc. It seems he’s become too cool for P’Nine.

In school, Fuse still wants to be friends with Tee and invites him to do homework together and go to the tutoring class together. But, Tee cooly rebuffs his attention seeking attempt and walks away. Yass!!!! You show him Tee!

Then, in the tutoring class, it seems Jean has also joined the same place and she asks for Fuse’s bag and wants Fuse to sit with her instead of Tee. When Fuse brings him some refreshments, Jean calls him over and takes that too. Ugh. I would be angry but right now, all I can say is – good riddance.

Then, to my pleasant surprise, we finally get another suitor for Tee’s affection – Cid/Sid. About time MIR, about BLOODY TIME.

Few facts about the new suitor:

  • He looks hella’ fine.
  • He is quite adept at flirting.
  • He was Tee’s classmate back in the day.
  • He likes Tee (obv.)
  • People used to tease Tee and Cid as lovers! (Omg, so cute)

But of course, Tee seems a little guarded with his emotions and doesn’t jump as quickly as our friend Cid. I hope that this leads to somewhere.

The best part is of course, the look on Fuse’s face, when he realizes that Tee already has a lot of options besides him! HAH!

Then, there’s some thing about Yok using Lukmo to get back at his mother. He literally wraps Mo as a present and gives it to his mother, who obviously goes berserk. I have no idea where this story line is going. I feel his mother is at least right in some ways, like not the homophobic part but the part where this 15 year old is moving in with this boy friend of his?? Kids these days, am I right?

Arbitrary Points Counter

  • Suck it. Suck it real good. xD +100

  • Get me a boy friend that takes care of me like this. +50

  • Your face when your bae take cares of you and cooks for you. +50

  • Doesn’t this guy look like Lee Jong-Suk? Cute as. +10

  • Boy, bye. +50

  • Oh, hey there. Do you want my pen? +500

  • People, the first contact has been made. +100

first touch.PNG

  • Eat your heart out, you little boy. +100

  • Fuse boy, you made the wrong choice today. -1000
  • One last time. 😦 -100

  • Rodtang, the character, is turning out to be a little b*tch, right? -20

Total: -160

Verdict: Not. I mean, where is the good kind of drama? Where are the cute high jinks? Where is the good kind of comedy? Where’s the romance? It’s just sad and melancholic now. However, the introduction of Cid, and Book and Frame’s cuteness made the episode bearable. (Also, skipping past all the hetero and Yok and Mo story lines definitely helped.)

Next episode: Tee moves out from Fuse’s house while Mo moves in with Yok.

Recap | 2 Moons | s01e10

Yes, that’s me this episode, puking rainbow of happiness all over. When you think that the cuteness and sweetness level can’t be taken any higher, 2 Moons surprises you with a whole new level. Let’s recap. (Spoilers, obv.)

Again, we start straight back from the previous episode. After the dinner, Kit thanks Ming for his help with the car and both return home. In his dorm, Kit can’t stop thinking about Ming and starts staring at his picture from the competition. I feel like he’s giving this whole Ming situation a serious thought and consideration. On the other side, Ming is also looking at his own picture but what he’s really doing is to see if Kit has liked that or not. I mean, been there right? #relatablecontent.

Back at Yamaha Music Center, Phana is asleep on the couch while Wayo practices. After finishing, Wayo comes near the sleeping beauty to watch him sleep. But, Phana catches him on the act and starts to tease him. He asks him to close his eyes (OMG, is it happening?) and starts to inch closer. Wayo opens his eyes and then Phana asks him if he will get punched if he kissed him right now (Omooo) and then .. kisses him .. on his nose?

OMG. STOP TEASING ME LIKE THAT! NOT COOL 2 MOONS. NOT COOL! Ugh. Okay, okay. Yes, it was cute af but when will I get the mouth-to-mouth action? xD

Next morning, Phana, Kit, and Beam finish their class and are just chilling outside. Beam then asks where Kit was last night. Kit just shrugs it off by saying he was at the gym but our dear private investigator extraordinaire Beam is like .. Nope. Totally saw you on a date with Ming. Then, both Phana and Beam continue to tease Kit. Beam teases him by saying that he has confidence in Ming’s determination while Phana gives his sage advice about love not being about the gender but about the person. Noice!

Then, Ming arrives and the others dutifully give them their space. While Kit is chastising him for stalking him, Ming demands Kit like his Facebook photos. Kit just runs away. Later at his dorm, after much deliberation, Kit finally likes Ming’s photo on Facebook (and immediately gets a thank you message). Then, continues his studying with a smile on his face. It seems he’s clearly into it and his denial phase is slowly giving away to acceptance.

Then, we get a scene where the P’s are scolding the N’s, which I think is a little unfair considering the amount of time they spend practicing everyday. Anyway, after a cute training montage everybody starts to leave. Phana comes to pick up Wayo after the piano practice as usual. He says all protective things to Wayo and drops him off at his door. So, gentlemanly!

At night, Wayo can’t sleep due to excitement of the competition and calls Ming. They just have a great gab session where they talk about the competition, their boy friends, etc. Like all of us, Ming complains to his best friend about his crush not answering his text and when he does, completely forgets about his best friend. Haha.

Anway, after saying goodbye to him, Wayo still can’t go to sleep and instead goes to Phana’s room. To his surprise, he sees Pringles there but Phana quickly takes control of the situation and announces that he’s going to sleep in Wayo’s room. Again, Wayo and Phana have a cute heart-to-heart in the bed where Phana says that Wayo is the most important thing to him and Wayo tells him that the song he is about to perform in the competition is only for him. (Awwwww. Puking. Rainbow.)

It’s the next day, the day of the competition and Phana is waiting alone in his makeup room. Kit and Beam arrive and when Phana voices his desire to see his precious Wayo, they all take him to the freshmen makeup room. Wayo then takes him aside to a quiet corridor. He says to him that he is a little worried about messing up during the competition. Phana just dismisses that by saying not to worry as he will love him no matter what (well, not the exact words, but you know, the same sentiment 😛 ). And then, to my (and possibly Wayo’s) surprise, he gives him a quick kiss on the cheek. I guess, we are slowly progressing towards the big moment? One can only hope so.

Arbitrary Points Counter:

  • I mean, God is meant to be started at and admired. +20

  • Yes, I agree. It’s cute af. +500

  • Why does 2 Moons have all the cute guys? They should lend some to MIR. +10

  • Beam – the private investigator. +10

  • Phana and Beam giving Kit and Ming some S P A C E. +20

  • When you’re in love, you do everything for the other person. +20

  • You hang up. No, YOU hang up. Phana can’t get enough of Wayo. +50

  • Pringles is looking fresh as hell at 2 am. But, if you want to seduce God, you gotta look pretty. -10

  • Phana has his priorities straight. +100

  • All I want for Christmas is YOUUUUU. +1000

Recap | 2 Moons | s01e09

2 Moons is cranking up the sweetness level and I’m living for it. It’s done right and is just the perfect amount. (Unlike the shit storm that is Make It Right 😛 ). Although, when will Phana and Wayo kiss? Let’s recap. (Spoilers, obv.)

We continue straight from last week’s episode where Wayo is rushing to meet Phana for the lunch date. When Phana sees Wayo coming out of Ming’s car, he gets a little jealous and starts interrogating him a little but that turns into flirting quite quickly. Then, they go to the cafeteria to eat and again, more flirting ensues with lots of cute dialogues. There they talk about their family (we find out that Wayo is an automobile heiress lol) and also the fact that Phana is a little insecure and a little jealous that Wayo is becoming so popular with other boys (okay, just Forth).

After lunch, Wayo goes back to practice and meets the sista’, who is showing him their Facebook photos and that Ming is getting more likes than him. But, he tells him not to worry because the popular award will go to the one who receives the most roses at the day of the ceremony. Now, I feel like Ming will win the Campus Moon but Wayo will get the popular vote due to the fact that Phana will buy him a whole bunch of roses. We shall see. Again, Wayo gets a call from Phana (he can’t stay away from him) and wants to drop him off to his piano practice and asks him to wait.

Side note: Does Wayo not have any classes? I mean he’s in uni and stuff and Phana is seen going to classes daily but it seems Wayo doesn’t have anything to do except the practice sessions, right? Is that how it works in Thailand? Like for the first few weeks, the new comers don’t have to attend classes?

Anyway, after the practice, Wayo is waiting all by himself for Phana as he’s late. And, to utilize this opportunity, out comes Forth (of course). He offers him a ride home but Wayo declines saying that he’s waiting for someone. (P’Forth, pick me. I will ride you with you anytime.) Forth asks him who that person is but Wayo stays silent. So, Forth doesn’t push it and offers to stay until that person arrives. There’s some touching and flirting but it stops the moment Phana arrives. Forth is of course surprised and takes his anger out on Phana. Phana apologizes but Forth warns him not to do this again (cause Wayo is a precious little princess 😛 ) and walks off.

Side note: Why is everyone so concerned about Wayo waiting alone in the uni? I’m sure it’s not a dangerous place and Wayo’s a grown man. (Actually, I’m just envious because I have no one that cares so much like that 😥 .. ugh .. these BL shows will be the death of me)

After he goes, Wayo tries to reassure Phana that it’s okay and they go together to Yamaha Music School (#sponsored) to practice. The store man conveniently gives them the key and trusts them to close the shop after they finish. To be rich and privileged. Oh man. Anyway, Wayo starts to practice and asks Phana not to stay there (coz it’s a love song and he wants to Phana to see at the competition for maximum love impact). Instead, Phana goes to buy food for Wayo while he practices.

While eating, Phana brings up Forth again but Wayo quickly shuts him down by telling him not to worry too much as Phana has already won – a long time ago! Hot damn!

Next, we see our second couple, Kit and Ming in the gym. Ming is practicing Muay Thai and Kit is secretly checking him out. Ming calls him out on that but Kit denies it and runs away. Ming follows him but Kit tries to leave (again) but his car won’t start. Ming calls a mechanic for him and while they fix his car, Ming takes Kit out on a dinner date.

There they talk about the upcoming competition and Ming asks Kit to support him. At first, Kit is quite reluctant but after Ming’s relentless pleading, he agrees. And, he also asks Ming for a treat if Ming wins the title. Ming gets very happy and promises to work hard and win the title for him.

Arbitrary Points Counter:

  • When did Phana become Wayo’s mother? +10 for being a caring boyfriend though.

  • This is getting to be a regular habit, isn’t it? +50

  • I’m the one at left upper-corner, jumping over the table to touch my God. +20 for realness.

  • When you convince your boss that the task at hand takes three people instead of two. +10

  • I have no idea wtf this is. -10

  • OMG. Staph it. Staph touching him. Wayo and Phana haven’t even held hands yet! -50

  • However, the whole thing gets over as soon as Phana arrives. You tried Forth, you tried. +20

  • Again, another habit. +50

  • Phana is in love with Wayo’s lips. +50

  • Yes, he did Wayo. Yes, he did. +1000

  • It seems the roles of master and slave has reversed. +10

  • Busted! +20

  • So. Damn. Thirsty. +100

  • I love the fact that Ming is so committed to Kit, he has KitKat everywhere. +20

  • Kit realizing that other people find Ming hot too! +10

Total: +1310

Verdict: Yes, 2 moons knows how to make our hearts swoon. But, where is my kiss?

Next episode: More Kit and Ming shenanigans.

Recap | Make It Right | s02e02

No preamble today. Let’s recap (Spoilers, obv.)

So, we start episode 2 in the bathroom (where else?). Yok is pooping while Mo is on the other stall besides Yok trying to woo him. It’s all very romantic /s. With farts and poop-splash noises as the soundtrack of their romance, Mo finally manages to get Yok’s phone number and declares his intent to pursue Yok.

To be honest, the dialogues in these scenes are actually pretty funny and quite good (or at least the translations). But, but, but, the splash noises man … I don’t even know what to say. Anywho, even though I’m not happy, Mo is definitely happy with the progress he’s made and even though he gets teased about it, he’s still in good spirits.

Meanwhile, Rodtang is just chilling in the basketball court. You know, now that he’s famous and stuff – I guess, he can just chill. 😛 Then, in the midst of that chill sesh, the music teacher (I’m assuming) comes and starts to give some constructive criticism about the band’s performance from the previous episode. He says that they need a little bit of heart and soul in their music, which is currently missing. Rod’s “friend” promptly blames Rod and says that since he’s busy doing all other shiz – they haven’t been able to practice. Rod then asks the teacher to help them improve and the teacher agrees.

I have so many questions – a. Why is that teacher so young/hot? b. Why is he so interested in this particular group? c. Was he watching them perform last episode? Why wasn’t I paying attention? d. Is it bad that I think that this teacher and Rod should start getting it on? Haha.

Anyway, after this interaction, the basketball team comes (with Nine) to practice in the court. Apparently, Rodtang is also in the team but hasn’t been coming to the practice as Rod’s trying to do it all (drums, drama, band, basketball, etc). And, the guy named Lamom (legit – the coolest name ever) isn’t happy. He starts shouting at Rod and they nearly get into a fight. Luckily, Nine interferes and protects Rod and covers for him.

Meanwhile, the it couple of the moment – Book and Frame – are busy playing house. Surprisingly, Frame is now cooking for Book and tending to his needs and all in all, is very caring. This is illustrated further when Frame gets some messages from his fan club in the middle of their homely dinner and ends up deleting them and blocking them instead of reading/replying. He then goes on to tell Book that he’s not that sort of guy anymore because he now has a boyfriend! (Awww … this reminds me so much of 2 moons.)

Then, we see Yok hatching a plan with Christina to get back at his mom for giving him grief about being gay. And, I think that plan involves Yok making Mo as his boyfriend as we see him asking Mo to move in with him and giving him an underwear as a present.

I mean … again … so many questions. a. Do these teenagers not have any parental supervision? b. Are they so independent/mature that they decide to live alone/move in together on a whim? c. Are all of their parents so rich that they can afford individual condos for their children? d. How are these teenagers so sexually active and mature? (I’m just envious, that’s all. Haha)

In the land of Tee and Fuse, Tee has conveniently moved to Fuse’s house to “tutor him” (again, none of their parents have any problem with this). And they even setup a future plot point here when Tee invites Fuse back to his condo. We can see that out of these two, Tee is definitely the happiest  as he is looking forward to spend more time with his beau. But, it’s MIR and they can’t seem to tolerate seeing Tee this happy. So, when they’re on a date and Tee is about to say something cute and romantic, MIR thrusts Jean back into the picture. Apparently, the guy Tee and Fuse saw with Jean was just her brother and she still thinks that Fuse is her boyfriend.

The episode ends with a long montage of Tee being sad and melancholic.

  • Tee’s  – surprise~~. His English is so cute. +20

  • Boom Moments. +50

  • Batman, Superman, Ironman? – No, I want to be YOUR-man. Hahahaha. I know it’s bad but this was the good kind of bad. +50
  • These two are #couplegoals. +100

  • Also, when did Book become so hot? He was definitely cute but I don’t remember pausing episodes to stare at his face. +100
  • I live for Boom’s happy face and expressions. +100

  • Even though he acted like a b*tch, Lamom has such pretty eyelashes. +25

  • Jean’s brother is so cute though. I mean, even though he looked interested in Fuse, I think he should be Tee’s boyfriend. +10

  • Splash – splash. -100000
  • Yes, I know Line produced the series. So, any sponsoring thing is inevitable. But, they literally shoehorned the tutorial on how to use Line Messaging Services twice in this episode. -1000
  • The fight between Rod and Lamom seemed so fake. -100
  • The thigh grab and the underwear gift from Yok was not for me. I don’t support this unholy union. -50

  • Why can’t MIR see Tee be a little bit happy? And, he even got a sad and lonely montage! Ugh, and he’s also such a martyr, sacrificing his happiness for that of the others. -1000

Verdict: Not. Literally, nothing exciting or of any significance happened this episode. People were just randomly coming and going in the show. People were giving advice and no one seemed to be actually following it. I don’t know. I think they just ran out of story, it seems. And, why is everything/everyone so sad and miserable. That’s why, I’m paying attention to these weird details, which otherwise I would have been too busy too notice. The only good thing about MIR right now is Frame and Book and Boom (not Tee, the character). Hopefully, MIR can recover as the season goes along.

Next episode: I don’t know. I was so bored, I just closed my browser.

Recap | 2 Moons | s01e08

You know what happened today? My [nonexistent] ovaries? They exploded. Sigh. This episode was everything a fan girl could have ever asked for. Thank you drama gods. Your generosity knows no bounds. Let’s recap. (Spoilers, obv).

So, we are still in flashback mode in Beam’s car. We learn even more new things:

  1. The first time when he realizes that this Wayo is his Wayo, he actually pictures him in the old school clothes with those cute glasses. He also confirms to Kit and Beam (and to us) that he still likes him.
  2. Phana’s immediate thought after deciding that he wants to pursue Wayo is to buy him a pink milk.
  3. When he came to meet Wayo during practice (missing his lunch, and getting scolding from Auntie professor), he was actually bringing Wayo a pink milk but due to Forth being there, couldn’t give it to Wayo. 😦
  4. In the resort, when Wayo asked if Phana had met the right one, we screamed – “Yes, it’s you!” at Wayo from our screens. Unsurprisingly, that’s exactly what Phana was saying as well, albeit quietly and from inside the bathroom.

Sensing that Phana needs help, Kit and Beam ask if he’s still into Wayo. Phana wonders if Wayo’s still into him and whether he should pursue him or not. Then, Beam says that it doesn’t matter, what matters is that Phana likes Wayo. He also tells Phana that he cares too much about what others think and asks him to follow his heart instead. They also tell him not to let Wayo get away this time. Awwwwwwwww! Kit and Beam are such good friends! Phana decides that he will definitely pursue Wayo – “I won’t let him be single for a long time.”

Then, on Forth’s car, we see a lovelorn Wayo. Ming and Forth look worried but as soon as messages from Phana start to arrive, his smile returns. Phana sends a picture of that note Wayo had written to him back in high school and apologizes for pretending to not know about Wayo’s feelings. Basically, he confesses to Wayo that he likes him and asks him out for a date.

Finally!!!! Omg!!! Hallelujah, it happened finally!!!

When they return back to the city, Phana goes in search of Wayo but Wayo is still mad that Phana did nothing even though he knew about his feelings the whole time. However, after a quick kick in Phana’s shin, Wayo agrees to go eat with Phana. The dish? Sushi, of course. And, it is the best date ever. It’s perfect – there’s cute flirting, light teasing, and plenty of confessions. Phana tells Wayo that he is indeed pursuing him. Wayo smiles, I smile. Ahhhh, I’m so happy right now.

Next morning, Wayo receives a phone call from Phana. He has come to ask Wayo to eat breakfast with him. Lol. So clingy. 😉 Then, he sees the shrine. I’ve been telling you Wayo, you gotta tone it down a notch. However, it works in his favor. While other people would have run away faster than Usain Bolt after finding that out, Phana finds it endearing and even wears that gift (bracelet) that Wayo had bought for him years back.

Then, they go to eat. It’s very cute, as usual. But, this time, Pringles drops by. When Phana wipes the food from wayo’s lips (yes, that happened), Pringles gets upset and demands that Phana drop her off at school. Wayo looks very uncomfortable but Phana knows what’s up. So, like a pro, Phana asks Wayo for permission. OMGGGGG. I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW, YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA. Hahaha. After assuring him that nothing will happen between them, Phana gives him a note (similar to the one he received from Phana) and asks him to open it later.

The note it turns out says – ‘You always have my heart.’ v.v

Can’t. Contain. This. Heart. Argh.

Then, Wayo goes for his usual competition practice, where he gets a phone call from Phana asking him out for lunch (omg boy, leave Wayo alone 😉 ). He says that he will pick him up at 12.30 from the dorm. Then, he gets a second phone call from Ming and they both go to the Medical building to spy on Kit and Phana. Ming confesses to Wayo that he likes Kit (Awww). After the talk, Wayo realizes that he will be late for his lunch date with Phana and asks Ming to drop him off and the episode ends there.
